About Tristan

Tristan is a college soccer player from the Daytona Beach, Fla. area. He is passionate about soccer and has been playing on a team since he was four years old. For the 2024-2025 year, he is playing soccer for the University of South Carolina Lancaster. See his NJCAA stats for the 2024-2025 season here, and here for the 2025-2026 year. Tristan received nine offers to play college soccer, including from two DII colleges. After considering his options, he was excited to commit to USCL to get his college soccer career started.

Prior to college, for the 2023-2024 school year, he was on the varsity soccer team at Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Fla., where he was captain and a senior. He also played club soccer for Orlando City's 05/06 National Academy League for the 2023-2024 season.

Tristan finished the regular 2023/2024 high school season as the lead goal scorer for Volusia/Flagler Counties. For the season he scored 25 goals and 5 assists. In January 2024, he was featured in a newspaper article about his journey to success following a fractured fibula he sustained playing a club soccer game. In the same month, he was also named as one of the top five performers from the Five Star Tournament that was held in Ormond Beach.

When he's not officially playing soccer, he is training on his own or with friends, or watching professional soccer games. He currently offers individual soccer training sessions for youth players who want to improve their skills. He also spent three years as a local soccer ref.

Tristan plays left and right wing. His goal is to to take his love of soccer and make it a part of his life for the rest of his life. After sustaining a leg fracture during his junior year in high school, which took a big toll on his soccer that year, he took to learning about psychology and mindset. His academic goals are to major in sports psychology and use his knowledge and personal experience to help athletes overcome psychological and mindset barriers.

In November 2023, Tristan was nominated as Athlete of the Week in Volusia/Flagler Counties. That week, he scored a hat trick and added an assist in one game, while scoring two goals in another. During the spring of 2024, he was also selected to play in the state's FACA All-Star soccer game in Mulberry, Florida, and was selected to play in the Volusia/Flagler All-Star game. In May 2024, he was also nominated for the high school athletic awards for soccer, as he finished the regular season as the lead goal scorer in the county.
